Ransomes Jacobsen, the Ipswich-based turf equipment manufacturer, has appointed Deano Golf Warehouse (Deano Golf) as the sole distributor for the Ransomes, Jacobsen and E-Z-GO product lines in Nigeria.
Deano Golf, located in the Nigerian capital Abuja and the coastal port of Lagos, is a major wholesaler and retailer of golf equipment across West Africa, distributing brands such as Calloway, Taylor Made, Ping, Nike and Adidas. Now, with the Ransomes Jacobsen franchise, the business will work with customers to enhance and develop the standard of courses in the region.
Alan Prickett, sales director of Ransomes Jacobsen commented, "We see West Africa as a growth market with significant sales potential. The appointment of Deano Golf is part of our strategy to expand our dealer network into new markets and we are delighted to welcome the company into our organisation."
