DEAL Turf Care, the RANSOMES JACOBSEN dealer for South and Mid Wales, recently opened their new premises near Llancarfan in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Over 50 specially invited guests from golf clubs and local authorities across the region attended the event and were able to see the impressive new £350,000 facility. Occupying a total area of 10,750 sq ft, the building has a fully equipped workshop with separate grinding room, an impressive spares department with over £750,000 worth of stock and a product display showroom on a mezzanine floor. Completing the facilities is a selection of modern adminstarive offices and a dedicated meeting room.

There was a large static display of equipment from the Ransomes Jacobsen range including mowers, top dressers, Iseki compact tractors and the new E-Z-GO RXV golf car. Other major supporters of the day were Soil Reliever and GreenTek.

Commenting at the event David Evans, Managing Director of DEAL Turf Care said, "We were absolutely delighted with the attendance. We have made a significant investment here, which demonstrates our total commitment to the Ransomes Jacobsen product range and we wanted to show our existing customers and prospects that we are are here for the long term. The suport from the grounds care industry was excellent and we certainly exceeded our expectations for the day."

Joe Turner, Ransomse Jacobsen's Territory Manager added, "We are delighted for David and his team here at DEAL. The investment in this new facility is highly significant and following on from the success of the Open Day at the Vale Hotel back in September, David has established the company as a significant player in the golf and local authority sector in this region."
