Tommy Cummings, head groundsman at Bank of Scotland Premier League football club Inverness Caledonian Thistle, has taken delivery of new Ransomes Jacobsen pitch maintenance equipment from local dealer, Fairways GM. Ransomes Jacobsen is a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company.

For the beginning of the new season, a Jacobsen Tri-King ride-on triplex mower and an Iseki TH4290 29hp compact tractor have been delivered to the Tulloch Caledonian stadium under a three-year preferred supplier agreement with Fairways GM.

Tommy, who has spent 35 years on the grounds staff at the club and for the past 12 seasons has combined this with the job of kit manager, commented,

"It's great to have some of the best equipment available today as a result of our agreement with Fairways. The Tri-King is a superb piece of kit, easy to handle and the quality of cut is second to none. The Iseki tractor is an excellent general workhorse; it has a light footprint and the hydrostatic drive makes it very easy to operate."

Ransomes Jacobsen is a subsidiary of Textron Inc., a $10 billion multi-industry company operating in 33 countries with approximately 37,000 employees. The company leverages its global network of aircraft, industrial and finance businesses to provide customers with innovative solutions and services. Textron is known around the world for its powerful brands such as Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, Jacobsen, Kautex, Lycoming, E-Z-GO and Greenlee, among others.
