A selection of RECO dealers have recently been recognised for their hard work, customer service and business practice over the past year, at the annual Service Dealer Awards Ceremony which were held in Windsor last month.
RECO was represented strongly at the event through four of its agricultural dealerships. Russells (Malton) was awarded the overall Farm Machinery Dealer of the Year award, whilst HJR Agri Oswestry received the Emerging Dealer of the Year. P Tuckwell and G & J Peck were shortlisted finalists in the Farm Machinery Dealer category.
The awards - organised by Service Dealer magazine- provide an opportunity for manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their top dealerships and officially recognise the sales success that they have achieved over the past 12 months. Once nominated, the dealerships are then assessed by an independent panel of judges who select a shortlist of finalists, with the winner of each category announced on the evening of the ceremony.
Also recognised at the event was RECO's Chairman Richard Ruston who was awarded the prestigious AEA Lifetime Achievement Award as an acknowledgement of his contributions towards the industry over the years.
RECO Managing Director, John Walls, said "We were pleased to celebrate the evening with all of the shortlisted finalists but especially our dealers who achieved tremendous success. They are a credit to the industry and we are proud to be associated with them. The evening also brought for us the opportunity to celebrate with Richard -our company Chairman- whom without, RECO would not be the company it is today".
