Calderdale Council Parks and Streetscene are promoting :- Recycling Action Yorkshire

An Open Day on the 10th May 2007 at Manor Heath Park, Halifax HX3 OEB

10am - 2pm

Aims of the Day

To showcase compost production and application from Street Cleaning leaf waste to a useable recycled material, with exhibitions and practical demonstrations on techniques and processes that have been used.

To show by example the process in both a practical and theoretical way of how the Calderdale RAY Project has been done with demonstrations of land ecological improvement displays in a public park.

This would be a mixture of presentations, displays and practical field applications.

A range of equipment would also be on site and would link in with National Composting Week.
