Martyn Thomas, the chairman of the Rugby Football Union management board, will be in Warwickshire tomorrow (September 13) to open the refurbished changing facilities at Barkers' Butts' Pickford Grange Lane ground.

Thomas will perform the official opening of the £50,000 changing rooms extension before Barkers' Butts' home Midlands Three West league local derby against Earlsdon.

Barkers' Butts have raised the money for the changing facilities themselves but have received a grant of £23,200 from the RFU's Community Club Development Programme towards the cost of a new pitch drainage at the ground.

The CCDP is an innovative collaboration between the Government, Sport England and sports governing bodies aimed at improving facilities.
