Good luck to all at Hampshire for their first test which has been in the planning stage for a couple of years now. Disappointing part of the article is that there is no mention of Nigel Gray, the man who built the ground.
Very different from the lovely old Northlands Road ground where awards came thick and fast, yes there have been teething problems at the Rose Bowl, but now it is a Test venue and I hope they have a great match and the weather shines on them, particularly Nigel.
