The Royal Golf Center Copenhagen, one of the newest top class golf courses in Denmark and designed by the respected golf course architect - Ron Kirby, has signed an exclusive supplier agreement with Svenningsens, Ransomes Jacobsen's distributor for Scandinavia.
Although the 18-hole course is still under construction, turf maintenance machinery deliveries have commenced and include Jacobsen greens, tees and fairway mowers, along with two Bernhard grinders, tractors, deep aerators and sprayers. Upon completion a fleet of 40 of the latest E-Z-GO electric RXV golf cars will also be delivered.
The Royal Golf Center Copenhagen is the first international golf course in Copenhagen and is situated in a unique location close to the Bella Center, a new conference and exhibition centre 5km from Copenhagen airport.
One of the factors influencing the selection of Svenningsens as the preferred supplier was proximity of their depot, just 6km away in Kastrup. The contract includes a full service agreement, which will see Svenningsens maintaining all of the equipment.
Commenting on the agreement Michael Johansen of Svenningsens said,
"The vision of Royal Golf Center Copenhagen has always been crystal clear; it is going to be a facility where the course, facilities and services are first class. We are delighted to have secured this contract, which is the beginning of a long association with the club."
