It was absolutely unbelievable that Yorkshire's County Championship game with Hampshire at Headingley didn't start on time on Wednesday due to "bad light". What a farce!
I arrived at just after 10am and the teams had just tossed up and as soon as they did that, the umpires said it was not fit to play.
How crazy is that?
It didn't enter my head that it wasn't fit to play. Surely the daft thing is that the umpires let them toss up? It was completely in their hands!
Umpires don't use a light meter or anything now in county cricket - it's left to the human eye.
