One of the Sportsturf industries best known faces; Russell Latham, has left the Mansfield Sand Company after 13 years service to take up his new position as European Sales Director for Clive Richardson (International) Limited.
Clive Richardson (International) Limited is an amalgamation of two well-known sports turf contracting companies Clive Richardson Ltd (CRL) and Premier Pitches Ltd - formed to identify and develop new opportunities in the increasingly competitive area of sports pitch construction, maintenance and renovation.
Both CRL and Premier Pitches will still operate independently with existing clients although Russell will also be responsible for forging and maintaining links with new clients under the Clive Richardson (International) Limited banner.
The new alliance will continue to further expand its services into the European market. A recent joint venture installing fibre reinforced pitches has proved extremely successful.
Director of CRL, Clive Richardson said "Russell's appointment will bring a new dimension to our activities within mainland UK and Europe. He is well respected within the industry and his knowledge of fibre reinforcement is second to none. It is our intention to provide a fibre mixing and installation service worldwide and we believe Russell's in depth knowledge of the product will give us the edge over our competitors."
Carl Pass, Managing Director of Premier Pitches commented that he has been actively looking to work alongside a major contractor in the UK and is delighted to have formed this association with CRL. "Our new collaboration with CRL will allow us to compete in a larger market place against the bigger sports turf contracting companies."
Clive Richardson (International) Limited will be represented at BTME on stand Number B8a. Russell will be on hand to answer any enquiries or questions on the company and its services.
