GolfTech 731Golf Technology Ltd, Ransomes Jacobsen's Russian distributor based in Moscow, held a four-day greenkeeping seminar recently to showcase the latest products from the Ipswich-based manufacturer including the Jacobsen Eclipse hybrid greens mowers. Ransomes Jacobsen is a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company.

Thirty-five greenkeeping staff from golf courses across Russia, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine attended the event which was held at Moscow's Agricultural University and Pirogovo Golf Club. As well as product demonstrations, the seminar included presentations from renowned agronomist Dr Richard Hurley of Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA and Jon Scott, head of Agronomy at Nicklaus Design.

Commenting at the conclusion of the event, Vladimir Potapov of Golf Technology said, "We demonstrated the new Eclipse 100 series of walking greens mowers and the latest all-electric and hybrid versions of the Eclipse 322 riding greens mowers; this was the first time that this technology had been seen in Russia. Everyone who attended was very impressed with the new machines and the presentations by our speakers were well received. It was a very successful four days and certainly helped to cement relationships with our customers."
