Sarah Nuttall will join the RCA on 1st February 2010 in the newly created position of Communications Executive. Sarah was part of the BHA Communications and Promotions team between 2007 and 2009 where, amongst other responsibilities, she organised the Stud and Stable Staff Awards and the Anglo-Irish Jump Racing Awards.

In addition to managing the RCA's communications with members, other Racing stakeholders, the press and media, Sarah will also join two key central Racing teams in support of the Racing for Change Public Relations plan and the BHA led stakeholder group, co-ordinating Racing's messaging to wider stakeholders, including Government and Parliament.

Stephen Atkin, RCA Chief Executive, said on the appointment: "We are delighted to welcome Sarah to the RCA team. This new role underlines the RCA's and racecourses major contribution to Racing for Change and to our on-going commitment to working with the BHA and the Horsemen to communicate more widely Racing's enormous contribution to the British economy and to local communities."
