Scotts' Mark Rayner has been promoted from area sales manager for the Midlands to key account manager. In the new national role he will be looking to develop business for the company throughout the UK.

Mark has been with Scotts for three years and has over 25 years' experience in the Turf & Amenity market covering local authorities, contractors, turf growers, sports and golf.

Commenting on Mark's promotion, Stephen Squires, regional director Scotts Professional said: "Mark's appointment is a result of our continued growth and expansion in the Turf & Amenity markets and will help us continue to execute opportunities in new market segments for the Scotts range of products. We wish Mark every success in this new challenge and know he will use his experience to further strengthen Scotts' position in the industry."
