Sherriff Amenity investing in the future

Sherriff Amenity, one of the UK's largest turf care product suppliers have become the main sponsor for the recently announced Surrey Groundsman Mentoring Scheme.

Mark Pyrah, Sherriff Amenity director said, "It is great to see organisations investing in the future. Sherriff Amenity prides itself in offering some of the most up to date product and technical advice to groundsmen in all turf related situations. We are pleased to support the mentoring scheme ensuring that life long skills are passed to the next generation".

John Vaughan-Davies and Robert Jones have been selected to be the first two groundsmen to benefit from the mentoring scheme. Sherriff Amenity have also included Bayer Environmental Science and Advanta Seeds in the sponsorship agreement.

Chris Rudkin, the local Sherriff Amenity sales specialist, who has covered the Surrey area for over 30 years said "I look forward to supporting this very worthwhile scheme in the coming years, the high standard of cricket played in this county requires a high standard of groundsmanship, the scheme will ensure this is maintained for future generations of cricketers".
