Sherriff Amenity have launched SeaVolution™, a new organic nutritional alginate range, produced from the seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum, which is sourced from the unpolluted bays along the North West coast of Ireland.

Due to the unique cold extraction process, SeaVolution retains high amounts of micro nutrients, plant hormones and alginate, all of which are found naturally in Ascophyllum nodosum.

The benefits of applying seaweed extract are well documented, SeaVolution acts as a soil conditioner, strengthening the plant, allowing it to fight disease and fungal infections. This in turn relieves the grass of environmental stress, and so develops stronger, healthier roots.

There are four products in the SeaVolution range:

SeaVolution Golf can be used around the golf course on greens, tees, approaches and fairways. It can also be used on bowls greens and other fine turf surfaces.

SeaVolution Golf Plus contains the same standard ingredients as SeaVolution Golf but also includes chelated iron for fast green up and to harden the turf against disease attack.

SeaVolution Sport can be used on outfield sports areas and ornamental lawns.

SeaVolution Sport Plus contains the same natural ingredients as SeaVolution Sport, but also has added chelated iron for quick green up and turf hardening properties.
