Head groundsman Adrian Partridge and his team have had a busy Monday!
Sunderland's head groundsman and his staff have been working hard to ready the pitch for Sunday's game against West Ham.
Adrian Partridge and the groundstaff were at the Stadium of Light bright and early this morning to battle the elements and restore the playing surface to tip-top condition.
The Stadium is equipped with an undersoil heating system, which was turned on over the weekend to help prevent snow settling.
But a significant snowfall remains on the surface and Partridge is using the club's heat lamps combined with the sprinkler system to clear the remainder.
