Scotts and distributor Monro joined forces recently to hold a seminar at Newport Football Club, Isle of Wight. Thirty delegates from golf and bowls clubs as well as turf contractors attended the event, which kicked off with a presentation on the history of Monro Goodwood, given by Paul Roman.

This was followed by presentations from Scotts' John Noyce on the use of turf growth regular Primo MAXX in amenity turf, and cricket wicket maintenance and cricket loams from well-known IOG sports turf advisor Colin Kimber.

Thank you to Monro Sport for organising the seminar and to Newport FC for their hospitality.

Scotts and Monro are planning to hold two more seminars this year aimed at the sports turf market.
