Charterhouse Turf Machinery has further strengthened its commitment to synthetic turf maintenance with the appointment of leading specialist David Rhodes as its advisor on maintenance equipment.
With the expanding Verti-Art range of advanced synthetic turf maintenance equipment, Charterhouse is already leading the field. Developments such as the Verti-Top Vac, which uses a unique vacuum system to remove potentially harmful debris from the infill set the company apart from other manufacturers.
Synthetic surfaces are often thought of as 'maintenance free' but as the enthusiastic response from Charterhouse's customers has already shown, using the right machinery to care for the carpet and its infill can prolong the life of the facility and offer the highest standards of play.
As a progressive, customer focused company, Charterhouse is keen to continue to develop new technologies to enable sports ground managers to get the best from the latest synthetic surfaces, and the input of David Rhodes will be vital.
With 20 years' experience of sports surfacing, David project manages between five and ten major sports facility installations each year, and it is his knowledge of the needs of the end user that will be so valuable to Charterhouse.
"I am very happy to be associated with Charterhouse," he says. "The company have a great range of products which are very well made. Charterhouse has an excellent reputation and there is a great team of staff wanting to push the company forward."
"Charterhouse has taken a pro-active approach to learning about the synthetic turf industry and the developments within it. Their kit is advanced and can address issues on synthetic surfaces that some managers may not know exist!"
