Razor Standard.jpgDennis shows its commitment to meeting customers' needs by unveiling the new Razor Standard at Saltex.

The Dennis range of British manufactured, high quality, professional groundscare products, meets the needs of groundsmen, greenkeepers and gardeners who often have highly individual requirements.

Complementing the existing product range, Dennis introduces the new Razor Standard with 560mm (22in) cutting width, 11 bladed cutting cylinder, an ultra short wheelbase for easy manoeuvrability on greens and an operator friendly design including click height adjusters and internally designed stub shafts for its powered transport wheels.

This design has been developed in response to customer feedback, a practice which has shaped so much of Dennis's advanced range.

The Razor will be an excellent machine for groundsmen, greenkeepers and gardeners looking to achieve the superb cut of the Dennis Razor Ultra without the need for a groomer.

"We know that groundsmen and greenkeepers are highly skilled individuals with personal preferences on how to do the job, so we keep our range as versatile as possible and our aim is always to give the professionals what they want," says Dennis Managing Director Ian Howard.

Dennis@Saltex.JPGStanding proud alongside the Razor Standard is the Razor Ultra, again developed in close consultation with turf professionals. This has the same market-leading features as the Razor Standard, producing an excellent finish while being easy to use and adjust, but adds a tungsten tipped groomer to control lateral growth and further enhance sward quality.

The outstanding cut and ergonomic design of the Razor Ultra has taken Dennis into new markets, including the golf sector, where the mower produces superb results on greens and tees.

saltex 2010 142.JPG"We have been delighted with the response from groundsmen and greenkeepers to the Razor Ultra, which was designed with the operator in mind, to help him produce the best quality turf for his sport." says Ian Howard. "In 2010 we have achieved excellent sales across the range, in what is an increasingly difficult market, gaining repeat orders in sports ranging from football and rugby to cricket.

"We believe that we can continue this success with products such as the Razor Standard, which utilise our leading-edge technology and user-friendly designs to precisely meet customer needs. I am looking forward to another good show at Saltex which always proves to be a successful event for 'Team Dennis'."

Earlier this year, Team Dennis showcased its support for the groundsman by supplying 27 machines to the stadia and training facilities for the World Cup in South Africa. Good to hear that at least one British team had some success at the World Cup!

Customer feedback which must have included the phrase: 'Make your next mower look like a John Deere 220. ?
