Toro debuts new Reelmaster 3100-D mower complete with DPA blades, plus demos renowned cutting units at Harrogate Week
Toro's renowned DPA cutting units are now available on its Reelmaster 3100-D mower - and to celebrate, Toro is set to show off this latest launch as well as the wider benefits of its DPA blades in a series of demonstrations at Harrogate Week.
Launching at the show, this newly-enhanced triple mower joins Toro's Greensmaster 3250-D, Flex 18 and 21 greensmowers, and Reelmaster 5010-D and 6500-D fairway mowers, which are already fitted with DPA units as standard.
To complement the extension of its range of DPA mowers, Toro is inviting Harrogate Week visitors to check out the benefits of this revolutionary cutting unit via a series of 20-minute, on-stand demonstrations throughout the show.
On the hour from 11.00am to 2.00pm, through Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21 January, the Toro team will be showing off the unit's features and specifications as well as answering questions on why DPA cutting units are a cut above. In particular, visitors will be able to see for themselves just how quickly the unit's bedbar can be removed, replaced and reset.
Thanks to its ingenious one-click dial, the DPA - Dual Point Adjustment - cutting unit allows users to adjust and hold the bedknife in exact increments for an unrivalled quality and consistency of cut. Popular among many of the country's top golf clubs and sporting venues, DPA blades also hold a sharp edge for longer, ensuring that each blade of grass is cleanly cut - not torn - to keep the sward green and healthy.
Toro believes that the addition of DPAs to the Reelmaster 3100-D means the mower is able to deliver all its previous benefits together with an even better quality of cut and aftercut appearance that other triple golf mowers simply can't match. What's more, the improved 3100-D is now available with optional extras such as rear roller brushes for the first time for even greater performance and flexibility.
Commenting on this latest mower launch to benefit from DPAs, Toro's UK sales manager Jeff Anguige says: "We're delighted to extend the availability of our DPA units to the Reelmaster 3100-D because now even more customers can experience the best cut in the business. Harrogate Week provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the proven benefits of these blades across the range of DPA mowers and we look forward to welcoming visitors to the stand."
