Rolawn, Britain's largest turf grower has supplied their renowned Medallion® turf to the Eden Project, the UK's leading eco-attraction.

The Eden Project is a showcase for a sustainable future in its unique, dramatic Cornwall setting. It has already been dubbed "The Eighth Wonder of The World" and has welcomed more than eight million visitors.

Adrian Lovatt, Assistant Temperate Curator at the Eden Project commented "We have laid Rolawn Medallion turf in several of our high profile areas at the Eden Project. The fine finish and robustness is ideal for creating a quality look that can withstand the impact of our visitor numbers".

The most recent area to be turfed is at the centre of the new garden area, designed in conjunction with Banrock Station Australian Wine Company to promote sustainable horticulture and good design for social spaces and activities.

"The robustness of the turf was tested to the full when we used it to form a near cliff like back drop to our recent car show - The Sexy Green Car Show - showcasing the very latest in biofuel technologies amongst the major car manufacturers" added Mr Lovatt.
