To be blunt, Toro's new bedknife is anything but. Staying sharper for longer, the brand new EdgeMax blade brings even better performance to Toro greens and fairway mowers as well as significant time and cost savings.

Manufactured from hardened tool steel, Toro says that the EdgeMax bedknife provides up to three times longer edge retention than a standard bedknife, resulting in a cleaner, crisper cut for healthier turf and an unrivalled after-cut appearance.

Available across Toro's Greensmaster and Reelmaster ranges on models fitted with DPA (Dual Precision Adjustment) cutting units, EdgeMax blades also significantly reduce maintenance time. This is thanks to the use of hardened steel, which results in 50 per cent less time adjusting, backlapping, grinding and replacing, thus saving labour time and money.

What's more, blades that maintain their sharpness ensure the machine incurs less wear, enabling it to work smoothly and more efficiently. And because an EdgeMax bedknife lasts up to three times longer, parts costs are also reduced. Toro believes that this combination of longer life and reduced maintenance time can equate to long-term cost savings.

To find out more about the benefits of Toro's new EdgeMax bedknife, contact Lely's parts department on 01480 226870 or email toro.parts.uk@lely.com.

Toro commercial turf maintenance products are distributed throughout mainland UK by Lely UK Limited, 1 Station Road, St Neots, PE19 1QH. Call 01480 226800, email toro.info.uk@lely.com or visit www.toro.com or www.lely.com for further details.

Looks like Crocodile have ruffled a few feathers.

These 'Edgemax' knives are far from 'New'. Some poetic license here for sure!
