Find the time to come along.
The conference held at Southport's Theatre and Floral complex until Thursday 21st November has the most impressive line up of speakers brought together under one roof, the lion's share of thanks owed to Martyn Jones.
Each of the speakers talks for three quarters of an hour, and tomorrow (Wednesday) the conference is split with two lots of speakers talking, one group concentrating on Golf Course management, the other on sports Ground management.
The day's fee of £80 is a small price to pay for the level of expertise being shared here and, apart from the speakers themselves, there is also an impressive array of delegates (Course and Ground Managers) to talk to and mingle with during the coffee and lunch breaks.
For an extra £25 you can also attend the Gala Banquet on Wednesday evening.
The lectures start at 9 am, with an average of nine speakers through the day talking about subjects from Poa management to sports field disease, followed by a question and answer session and finish at around 5pm.
For details and last minute booking please phone Louise Clegg on 07759 755844.
