SHAMROCK ROVERS FCTwo of Ireland's top football clubs have been installed with Toro Irrigation systems.

Shamrock Rovers Football Club and Lucan Sarsfield Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) Club - both based in Dublin - have been kitted out with state-of-the-art Toro Turf Decoder Controller (TDC) irrigation systems together with TS90 Series long-throw sprinklers.

The systems were installed by specialist sports irrigation company Aquaturf Solutions Limited. Explaining why he specified the TDC system for the clubs, managing director Stephen Daley says: "Toro's control systems are second-to-none. I recommended the new TS90 Series long-throw sprinkler to Shamrock and Lucan Sarsfield as it is perfectly designed for sports pitches. Having installed their systems for over four years now, I can be confident that Toro systems are reliable, efficient and will really make a difference to my customers."

Toro's TDC system eliminates the costs associated with traditional wire bundles and provides wide and flexible sprinkler coverage ideally suited to sports grounds and similar large-area installations. It's the perfect partner to the TS90 long-throw sprinkler, which can shoot water over a distance of 16m to 29m at a 25-degree trajectory, and enables an entire pitch to be watered in just minutes.
