As landscape contractors are faced with the need to reduce the amount of green and other waste removed from sites, chippers and shredders are increasing in popularity. Tracmaster, leading landscape and groundcare machinery expert, has the ideal solution for this problem. The CAMON C80 and C150 Chipper-Shredders are extremely tough and reliable units which feature a heavy-duty chipping blade for reducing branches and saplings to chippings in seconds.
Both units have an independent shredder feed which converts hedge cuttings, green and other waste into mulch quickly, effectively and without blocking. Meanwhile the side chute locks in an upright position for easy transportation and manoeuvrability.
The C80 features a reliable 9hp Honda GX270 petrol engine and offers a chipping capacity of 50mm (2") and a shredding capacity of 13mm (1¼"). Featuring one chipping blade and 27 shredding hammers the machine effectively deals with green and other waster. The C80 is 80kg while its dimensions are 107(L)x 71(W)x 1450cm(H) and the machine comes with a 2-year warranty.
A larger unit the C150 boasts a13hp Honda GX390 petrol engine and can deal with higher volumes of waste. The machine's chipping capacity is 90mm (3½") and its shredding capacity is 20mm (¾"). With one chipping blade and 36 shredding hammers the C150 ensures reliable and effective chipping and mulching. Weighing in at 100kg the C150's dimensions are 173(L) x 94(W) x 150cm(H) and the machine also comes with a 2-year warranty.
