Lindum launches a triple turf eco package to combat climate change on the golf course.
Low Maintenance Fine Turf is the first turf to incorporate Crested Hairgrass, renowned for its low maintenance qualities, slow growth habit and ability to thrive in dry, low fertility situations. Less fertilizer and less frequent mowing mean lower carbon emissions, and the ability to tolerate dry periods without intensive irrigation will be extremely important in years when water is restricted.
Lindum Wildflower, (a combination of native wild flowers and non invasive grasses growing in a re-cycled felt mat) provides an instant natural meadow, which encourages biodiversity in the rough, and the 'wilder' areas of the course.
Drought tolerant RTF turf can root down 1.5 metres and put up with heavy wear. Ideal for walkways and bunker surrounds.
