Tractors and aeration equipment funded by the RFU can be used by clubs throughout the country

English clubs are being urged to take advantage of the assistance the Rugby Football Union can give them in eliminating the pitch problems that force games to be called off.

Twickenham head groundsman Keith Kent is the driving force behind an initiative that can dramatically improve playing surfaces by making use of state-of-the-art machinery.
