Turfmech has appointed two new sales managers with responsibility for the entire range of Turfmech turf and grounds maintenance equipment and for Allett professional walk-behind mowers.
Newly-appointed sales manager for the north of England and Scotland is Ian Waddington. Yorkshire-based Ian will be well-known to many greenkeepers and groundsmen throughout his sales area, having worked within the turf machinery industry for more than 25 years.
Turfmech's new sales manager for the south of England and Wales, Chris York, brings a similar breadth of experience to his new role. Previously Allett's sales manager for the south of England, Chris has taken on added responsibility for the Turfmech product range following Turfmech's acquisition of the Allett mower product line in 2007.
The day-to-day duties of the two new sales managers include dealer liaison and support, the demonstration of Turfmech and Allett products to prospective customers and the installation of new machines and provision of training to end-users.
