The cold weather is continuing to cause major problems for Britain's sporting schedule going into the festive period.

Blackpool's Premier League game against Liverpool on Boxing Day faces a pitch inspection while Kilmarnock's Scottish Premier League game with Hearts is off.

Lots of Boxing Day football and rugby matches have also been postponed.

Racing's King George VI Chase at Kempton has been delayed until Monday while Monday's Welsh National will now be run on Saturday 8 January.

In addition, Huntingdon, Wincanton and Wetherby's Boxing Day cards have all been cancelled.

Tuesday's meeting at Catterick and Wednesday's meeting at Kelso have also been abandoned, while the Boxing Day meetings at Towcester and Down Royal in Northern Ireland were called off earlier in the week.
