White Horse Contractors has recently been awarded the CSCS Platinum Standard Certificate of Commitment in recognition of its dedication to ensuring its workforce is health and safety aware.
The Platinum Standard Certificate, which is issued by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, is awarded to companies where at least 90% of its workforce is registered under the CSCS programme. As such, White Horse Contractors meets this requirement with 95.5% of its staff registered.
The CSCS programme itself was set up to help improve quality and reduce accidents within the construction industry. As a result, those registered under the scheme are trained to a high standard, ensuring they are equipped with an extensive understanding of everyday health and safety protocol.
Robert Donald, Managing Director of White Horse Contractors, commented, "We are extremely proud to have been awarded the platinum certificate in recognition of our commitment to the scheme. With more than 90% of our staff registered, we are equipped with a fully experienced workforce who are competent with all aspects of health and safety legislation."
