The team at Wiedenmann UK has won the European Importer of the Year accolade from Wiedenmann GmbH. Despite uncertain financial times across the whole of the continent, directors at GmbH singled out the British team's focus and unstinting commitment to machinery installations and customer service.
Jurgen Wiedenmann, joint managing director of the German manufacturer, who travelled to Saltex to make the presentation, said that Wiedenmann UK - and its network of stocking dealers- had an enviable reputation for looking after their customers throughout the sales process and well beyond.
"As sales across certain sectors in different countries gain momentum, we recognise that customers are appreciative of the help and commitment they are shown and do remain loyal."
Wiedenmann UK's managing David Rae received the award with Sales Managers Chas Ayres, Michael James and Paul McIldoon in attendance.
