With snow and ice continuing to cause problems all over the UK and Ireland, a new special offer from John Deere is designed to help a range of customers cope, from contractors, local authorities and amenity managers to estate- and homeowners.
Anyone buying a new X700 Series diesel lawn tractor with a John Deere front attachment such as a 54in (137cm) snowblade or 52in (132cm) rotary broom will be able to buy a QuikTatch front hitch for just £1 - a saving of nearly £500.
There are three models in the X700 Series lawn tractor range, all featuring a 24hp Yanmar three-cylinder diesel engine, with a choice of 2 or 4WD or all-wheel steering depending on the model chosen. The heavy duty QuikTatch front hitch enables the user to change implements quickly and easily from the tractor seat, and for multi-functional year-round use there is also a range of mid-mounted side or rear discharge mower decks available, with cutting widths from 48 to 62in (122 to 157cm).
