Jack Nicklaus and leaders of the global golf industry descend on the spectacular, new Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt Hotel, County Wicklow, for the premier international golf business conference, themed 'Golf Resorts and Communities'
(Budapest, Hungary - April 24, 2008) KPMG Golf Advisory Practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA) today announced a line-up of world-class speakers for its fifth annual Golf Business Forum, at The Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt Hotel, County Wicklow, Ireland, May 12-14, 2008.
The conference, themed 'Golf Resorts and Communities', has attracted many of the international golf business' biggest players and will feature contributions from, among others, Jack Nicklaus, arguably the greatest golfer of all time and one of the most recognised global ambassadors of the game, Tenniel Chu, Executive Director of Mission Hills, China (the world's largest golf resort) and George O'Grady, Chief Executive Officer of the PGA European Tour.
"Golf Business Forum delegates will benefit from the insight and expertise of the international golf industry's most successful and experienced leaders," said Andrea Sartori, head of KPMG's specialist Golf Advisory Practice in EMA.
"We'll be covering a compelling range of topics during the Forum and, as always, offering opportunities to our delegates to network and do business with other key industry stakeholders.
Ireland was selected to host the fifth annual Golf Business Forum due to its status as a global leader in the development of successful golf resorts and communities.
As well as practical case studies and shared best practice, delegates will benefit from a keynote address on the global credit crises by KPMG Chief Economist Andrew Smith. Other speakers will include David Spencer, CEO Golf, Leisurecorp, Ed Stone, Chairman and Founder EDSA and Dana Garmany, Chairman & CEO Troon Golf.
Accommodation at the Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt Hotel is now sold out, but a limited number of delegate tickets are still available. For more information, and registration, visit: www.golfbusinessforum.com
