Message Board - Machinery: Sweeping machines
29 Nov 2006 by Markone
Looking to purchase a powered sweeping machine for our school to use on roads, paths and slabbed areas to pick up wet/dry leaves, minor litter, dust and other small debris. Have just demo'd a couple of Hako machines (pedestrian and ride on) and was not very impressed.
Does anyone out there know of or have a machine that is successfully used on the above? Any good bits of kit and any to avoid!?
All help/advice appreciated!
Thanks.

yes yes yes....Kersten machinery from Reading...Chris Faulkener is the guy you need to get hold of, if you PM Parkman, (steve) he has two or three kersten machines for all his roads, hard surface areas, and artificial pitches, he can give you the low down, but from what i have seen of them, they are very good tools...
Ticky supports British farmers...!!
