Message Board - Football: SPIKE OR ROLL

Hi again folks,
just a short question, pitch is bumpy, but rain is coming again before the weekend, would you spike it to help drainage or roll it to get bumps out.....

you shouldnt roll to get bumps out!!! i always harrow the level the surface, then spike followed by a light roll usually a roller on the back of the slitter. i would spike and roll if thats all you can do. it is better than nothing.
