I heard he had formed his own little Hareem on a desert island somewhere , last seen relaxing in a large chair stroking a white cat on his lap and about to say "I have been waiting for you Mr Saltman"
Its got to be purrrfect

he's gone back to Nz - guess he's still sorting out an internet connection
Of course there's no bounce, bend your back and put some bloody effort in.

FOUND - just heard from the short antipodean who has been without an Internet connection until this week.
He is working as The Equipment Tech / Workshop Manager at Titirangi Golf Club
www.titirangigolf.co.nz - I think that's him on the right of the home page

Hello from Down-Under you Chaps and Chapesses.
Within-10 seconds of finally getting my laptop conected to an internet connection I get a GOGGA Greeting from PP and then Ellie makes an appearance on my screen! How small a world is that?!
Continuing my quest to save the world from badly cut grass I find myself applying spanners and grease to machines here in NZ. (Land of the Long White Cloud and Heavy Hangover after the All Blacks decided to donate the World Cup to one of the Third World Rugby Nations and step out of the competition disgracefully). This is not a happy country to be in at present I can assure you.
Backlapping paste has been consigned to the bin as my course benefits from the addition of 2 brand new grinders and, as a result, razor sharp blades!
There is a lot of work to catch up with down here and I will be helping Rob over on PC Oceania so stand back as we light the touch-paper...
Nevertheless I shall be dispensing Grumpyness and Free Advice in equal measure on the pages of PC as ever. Don't think you'v got rid of me that easily!!!
Harrrrumpf to all!

I am a little worried about you being upside down after 21 years of living the right way up.....
Please take care.
17 Oct 2007 by Sumomosr
Thanks Ellie. (Sorry that MSN connection dropped out).
Well with the JetLag, the sun being the other side of the East/West line and the water going down the plug-hole the other way I'm making a few wrong turns. At least the roads are driven on the same side and are wider so the U-turns I have to make regularly are easy.
The beer stil goes down the throat just as easy though!!

Sumo,
I wish you the very best. I had not realised you had left our shores.
Please keep the posts coming, and you never know, we may meet again one day.

Gordon, Malc & Nigel. Thanks all very much for your good wishes.
My move was at short notice owing to my mothers health deteriorating. It seemed sensible to take the job on offer as well.
As I mentioned, I'll still be hanging around and making a Grump of myself.
Vive le GOGGA. Vive la Club Merde du Vin!
Au revoir ( but not Good Bye ).

Very cramped 25 hour flight and 8 hours in Hong Kong airport - I'll leave the rest up to your imagination!
Luggage allowance of 20 Kgs taken up by small toolbox. Cabin allowance of 6Kgs coverd by laptop. Wore my wrk boots on plane and packed Trainers. Toothbrush carried in laptop bag...
Thanks for good wishes everybody.
Rob: I'll be in touch as soon as I get Broadband.
Yes, Hi Melto.
Andy: The GF in UK has your address and will re-send as soon as she gets back from USA. (Be pleased to get rid of them too I suspect - apparently they are still very potent).

May I echo what every one else has said and wish you all the best in the future. And if your mates don't believe the story about your famous catch, they can contact me to confirm the details.
All the best,
Collie
