Arthur's Hallowed Ground.
Has anyone got a video of this classic BBC comedy/drama that I might be able to copy myself?. It starred Jimmy Jewel and came out in the 80's I think.

Just seen the film for the first time and loved it - it's great to see a film sole related to the life of a grumpy old cricket groundsman!

I can't believe you have only just watched it AA. It's a fantastic film. My copy on video is sadly not first class and I have been looking out on a regular basis to see if it gets re - released on dvd but sadly not as yet. if you've not seen it yet JL then I know you'll love it.

It's hardly hollywood stuff but it's certainly a very unique and different film and so many of us can certainly sympathise with the poor old bugger.
Shame anyone can't get hold of a copy i'd certainly buy one!

I read the reviews of the film on Google and it sounds right up the GOGGA street.

I've found a few copies on amazon.com all in the USA. not found any on the p2p networks yet.
