Message Board - Football: goalkeeper area

hi
last minute job on the goalkeeper area today was awful uneven and full of undesirable material, cleaned it all up and filled the giant divot with aload of sand and evened it off, 6 yard area looks like a beach lol, not ideal but training back tommorow, is there anything else that can be done to improve this area or just make do with the sand untill end of season??

have to agree with mwood on this 1 turf would be the better option. Plenty of water on the area after construction if not could cause to shrink.
Try and keep your goalkeepers out the goal aswell they can cause more damage in training sessions than in a game.
