Hi,
Does anyone have a contact number or email address for Jim Brown, Estate & Property Manager at De Vere Oulton Hall in Leeds, This is regarding getting information on the risk assessments that should be in place for golf clubs. This is so i can start my Level 2 course.
Also if anyone else who reads this has any information they can email me regarding filling out golf course related risk assessments please contact me. As i want to get started as soon as possible and this is slowing me down.
Thanks
Tom

Hello Tom,
Have you started the NVQ recently? over here in Lancashire the NVQ qualifications are being replaced with "The Diploma in Work-Based Horticulture". There are six different pathways with sports turf being one of the options, the qualification is delivered almost entirely at the work place with tutors coming out for regular visits.
I only ask as I am interested to know if this change over is across the country or more regionalised.
regards
Steve

Tom,
If you need infomation regarding risk assesments or anything else for that matter, don't send a circular to course managers/head groundsman etc asking them to fill in a questionaire and post it back. I get loads of these as do many of us from students doing thesis or suchlike. They all end up in the bin. If I filled them all in I'd never have time for much else, and some of the questions breach employer confidence.
Make an appoitment and go and see the man himself.
Also as you have the name of the bloke and his place of work....consider looking in the phone book.

Hi Tom ,
surely your course manager or club manager should have all the relevant paperwork for this, i know i have it all to hand if required
