Hi this is a picture of in front of the dug outs/ technical area. When it rains the area gets very waterlogged and compacted easily from heavy foot traffic from subs/managers and physios e.t.c. You are basically up to the top of your knees in mud.

The area is quite close to the pitch so i am thinking something artifical. I dont know...............

Mark...what i did at one non league club i looked after, was got hold of some second hand "astro" and laid it on the whole of the dug-out area for home and away...we did it properly by scraping out a depth of soil, put a layer of type 1 scalps wacker plated down, then pinned down as though laying an artificial wicket....as the hieght of the carpet is slightly higher than the sorround, no more flooding or carving up....

What about one of those Flicx pitches? All the cricket guys who have tham appear to hate them so there must be loads going free. But grow some grass through them and they ought to act like a finer car park re-inforcement.
