I'm none of the aforementioned, Peter. It's the Girl Guides for me!

However, have a Merry Christmas and "aw ra best when it comes", as they say up here!

I know no boundaries.

And wherever i may fit matters not. Happy Christmas to you and your family and every single man, woman or child that posts on here.
I have been a little sharp to some, but only because i care and want to help if i can.

A good one to every one.

See some of you in Harrogate and we will do it again.

Cheers to all.

Hi All,

A fleeting visit to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and properous new year.

I switched horses, career-wise, in August and have come back to my first love, which is writing so I don't have need to pop on so often these days. Although, having said that you never know... if I ever do "groundsmen - the sitcom" I'll definitley be back!

Thank you for all your support, advice and help over the years. Much appreciated.

Very best wishes
Sarah Latymer-Rae

We'll look out for your name in the credits then Sarah unless you write under a Pseudonym, Hope your well and wondered why we hadn't heard from you lately - something along the lines of an updated version of Arthurs Hallowed Ground would be interesting as still can't find it anywhere in DVD format. Incidentally Sarah, I do intend to change the state of my mind a lot over Christmas with the help of very nice 12 year old single malt but won't necessarily be going abroad to do it. Merry humbug and a most prosperous and happy new year to you all.

The very best

Mal

Yep, happy Xmas etc to everyone on here, to all that have put up with my ignorant questions, opinionated rants about cricketing authorities, and half hearted attempts at humour

What do I do? I just cut the grass.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all who have taken the time to help promote our wonderful industry, I hope you all have a well earned Christmas break and prosperous new year.

I did look at this attachment, http://www.grineflip.dk/juleside/julekort/jul.swf
and got all excited when I saw the pub lights turn on, and all those Greenkeepers walking towards it. Thought it got a bit tedious after that.

It's the poor buggers Downunder that I feel sorry for; can you imagine eating Christmas dinner on the beach, having to drink cold beer and needing a sun hat?
It would be horrible - sand on your mince pies, ice cream melting before it got anywhere near the Christmas pud, and those flippin' corks would dangle in after-dinner Port. Worst of all, you'd be asleep through The Queen's Speech.

A Merry Christmas, one an' all
