Good morning Craig

Did you get anywhere with your grass bin?

Last year I made up my own bins - not the most pretty, but they cost nothing and did the job.

The first one I made from stringing four wooden pallets together to form a square, and the second (in fact I used twelve of these), I got hold of some old one-ton bags, that sand is delivered in.

During the course of the year, grass clippings will rot down a bit, but then just sit there. A little work is required to keep them rotting, but you can put an awful lot of grass in one of these before you have to worry too much.

The good thing about the big bags is that you can move them around, even if they have a considerable quantity of material in them.

All the best,

Peter
