has anyone concided or currently using a wetting agent on their square ?
and if so do they work ?

From a theoretical perspective, I doubt if surfactants will have any great action oh high cohesive, low organic matter soils (like the bunch used for cricket)

There are no circumstances when the use of wetting agent on a cricket square should be done.
A smidge of penetrant to aid ingress of applied product maybe, and thats a cautious maybe. But a full on programme of Wetting agent no way.
It'll muck about with your ability to wet the profile sufficeintly in pitch prep and serve no usefull purpose.
















Some people are like Slinky's, totally useless but amusing if you push them down the stairs
