Message Board - Cricket: Grass plant bleeding and application of liquids

26 Feb 2010 by BAS

Guys/Girl

I recently been looking into the best time to apply liquid fertiliser and tonic like animoforb F/R.I ve been told that its best to cut and leave the cut turf for a hour prior to applications. The label usually says cut before appliction, but does not give details on allowing the grass a hour so it can take in the produce after it stops bleeding(weaping).any view of advice or just somethink not to worry about.

I wouldn't worry to much about it BAS by the time you have cleaned and put your mower away and got your sprayer out and filled and set up I'm sure an hour will have passed. I have never heard that before but always cut in the morning sprayed in the afternoon no problem. If you realy want clarification and piece of mind then it would be best if you contact RT directly and ask them for advice on their products.
