Message Board - Natural Turf: wembley

I have been told that wembley was not good on sunday, did any one watch the game and was it as bad as one paper is saying this morning, if so why?

Might have had something to do with the nearly 2 inches of rain that fell on it in the hours leading up to the game.
That and the complete carnival that goes for pre match "entertainment" prior to kick off.
And please please could Wembley get shot of the tosser on the PA who tries to whip the crowd up by SHOUTING inane drivel at the top of his voice in an attempt to create more atmosphere, 80,000 fans don't need your help. To cap it all he even announced the final score at the end, just in case anyone had lost count or failed to notice.

Some people are like Slinky's, totally useless but amusing if you push them down the stairs

Oh sorry Leeboy neither you nor Gareth Barry are going to Wembley this year are you ;) Still you still have that moral man mountain in Craig Bellamy lol....... although to be fair i now know why manchester city fans hate united so much :( i could not bare to stay in the stadium and watch them lift that cup i had to go and sit on a coach and get out of london as quick as possible ........3 hours to be frickin precise how can a national stadium have one road through an industrial estate to get to it bahhhhhhh , oh yeh the pitch!!!!!!!! dont care we lost :(

Two have criticised it from what I see, one whose team lost and one injury prone player who will be staying at home this summer, doesnt that tell you something?
