Message Board - Bowls: Allen Professional Sprayer

9 Mar 2010 by Brian Arran

We have a three year old Allen Professional chemical sprayer at our club which is very efficient, but we have suddenly found that it is very hard to push and the pressure guage goes round the clock. Has anyone out there experienced similar problem. If so, how did you overcome this.

I had a similar problem yesterday. it was a bit of debris inside the pump, jamming up the 2 "paddles" that go round from the "drive" wheel axle.

Thanks for your advice. Did not mention ages of operators 71 and 65 in case you put it down to lod age. Are Allen still trading or have they been taken over?

Allen have been taken over now by a company called Aztec.

Paul at Aztec is fantastic - been doing the pumps on the sprayers for 20 years or more he said.
