Dear All,

Does anyone know how Wimbledon groundsmen will deal with two major tournaments within two monthes. I though the courts needed one year to recover.

thank you,

Benjamin

Why don`t you approach the Head Groundsman at the AELTC direct you will find he is very approachable and helpful.

A recent talk at harrogate that Eddie gave answered this question in part. He said it's amazing how many people think that the main courts are only used once a year - that's simply not the case. The courts are in use many many more times than just for the Wimbledon fortnight.
How he'll recover the courts for the Olympics I dare say only he can tell you - if you ask him he likely will give you the answer.

Of course there's no bounce, bend your back and put some bloody effort in.
