Hi All
Does anyone know of a comparable pedestrian machine to the SISIS Truespread for spreading cricket loam?

I look in the shop might help:

We have the harvester at our club which works well. I can fill with 100-125kg of kaloam and push easily to dress half a cricket pitch.

I have one of the Green wizard drop spreader, as in the pitchcare shop too. Which i'm very happy with, the sping is quite powerful so you need a good right hand to operate, other than that its great.

I believe that the county trailer has a harvester spreader on it.
I find that it copes well with Boughton loam as it is drier and more granular than the Ongar loam. The ongar loam is finer and slightly damp.
this causes the spreader to block and damage the rubber paddles.

Hi
Has anybody tried using a drop spreader with GOSTD? I am thinking of using one but worried about the last post. Does the loam have to be dusty dry to work?

I know Vic has a truspread which he uses, sure he's on gostd 125 so he may be able to tell you more, I borrowed it before + did a good job with kaloam.

Indeed pac, use Gostd through the Sisis Truespread, with no problems.

A good piece of kit easier than doing by hand, probably doing mine by hand again this year
