If you are struggling with grass at this time of year to hold your pitch together, gluing is a good option.

I've never had to, but seen plenty of groundsman get good results with it...

I thought it makes it a boring road with no seam or spin? Better than going through the top suppose though.

What do I do? I just cut the grass.

Discussed at IOG course, concern was that glue may not be as biodegradable as claimed and could leave a layer and create problems like marl(seen as a great product of its time) without further testing.

Another reason for a very thorough scarification at the end of the season.

Used it a few times but only when I have had to "press-gang" a pitc h into giving me one more match.

Have never found any difference to pace, carry or bounce other than what I would have reasonably expected from the pitch if left unglued.

But it did hold the surface together!

My pitches have had very limited exposure to PVA, so I cannot judge whether it has/will make a difference in the years to come.

I know no boundaries.
