Cricket Pitch Rollers

Hi, can anyone tell me a good source for purchasing a roller to maintain our cricket clubs pitches?

Im in West Sussex and although not desperate at the moment, we have had advice that the roller will need replacing pretty soon. Its over 60 years old and is starting to give up the ghost. Does anyone kow of any websites I can look at to get a rough idea of the sort of price we would be looking at. Being a town cricket club its fairly certain it would have to be second hand.

Hope you can give me some ideas.

Cheers All

Rollers

I am living a fare way from you so can't give information on suppliers but very often the case with a roller a new engine will bring life to a roller. The roller itself may be mechanically sound.

Ian, What type of roller do you have, if you only need an engine,
I have a Honda 8HP engine for sale,if you have someone at your club with mechanical knowledge they might be able make it fit.Let me now if I can assist please.

Ian,
here at Coggeshall, Essex we use Upsons of Essex who specialize in renovated used machinery. We have had several items from them including a recon'd autoroller, the quality of recon is always good and prices competitive. If they don't have what you want they usually find it quickly. I don't think that you are too far away for them to be able to help.
